About Ken the Zen, Canadian Ataxia Conference musician performer:

Ken Ross aka. Ken the Zen was one of the lead musicians of the 2012 Canadian Ataxia Conference's "Bruteman Live!" philanthropy concert. He performed lead guitar for 5 songs including the show's closing song "I'm Not Drunk I have Ataxia". "I'm Not Drunk I have Ataxia" is a song Ken Ross and Roger Foley created, it is a song professing some of the stuggles and stereotype circumstances that arise for a person who is living with Ataxia and disablity in general.

About Ken:

Ken the Zen is a song writer/musician who was born and raised in London, Canada. Whether it is playing shows, writing songs, or recording music. Ken likes to keep busy doing that in which is currently holding his heart.

While presently working on a solo EP. Ken the Zen is sharing his soft and fragile voice at solo shows across the nation. Ken is also busy playing bass guitar in Sarah Smith's trio and full band roster. (Ken and Sarah have a long history together. They are also both in Canada's “band of the people” The Joys). Ken has also recently been seen playing bass with Carly Thomas and filling in with the 70's tribute band Bender.

Ken has had honour of winning multiple London and Toronto music awards and has also received a certified gold single in Canada with his band The Joys. With over ten cd's in his discography, over 20,000 units sold and after playing more than 2000 live shows. Ken the Zen is doing the only thing he knows how. Be himself.
